Group ISA Offer
An ISA (Individual Savings Account) plays an important part in all our investment portfolios. They allow us to invest up to £10,680 each year and are available in two formats:
- Cash ISA
- Stocks & Shares ISA
The full amount can be invested in a Stocks and Shares ISA, or you can invest up to £5,340 in a Cash ISA, and put the balance in a Stocks and Shares ISA.
In addition, the Government has confirmed that the new Junior ISAs will have an annual contribution allowance of £3,000 and will be available to all children that do not have a Child Trust Fund. These will open in November 2011 and more details will follow in due course
ISAs allow anyone to invest in a tax-efficient vehicle for a short, medium or long term although Stocks & Shares ISAs are suitable for the medium to long term only.
Investment Limits
If your employees have not yet taken advantage of their annual ISA saving allowances they can do so either by lump sum or regular savings. Each year our specialist investment advisers select an ISA portfolio for cautious, medium risk and adventurous investors. The charges are reduced on many of the funds by 2/3rds, allowing more of your employees money to be invested.
Cobens have arranged for you to have discounted access to one of the largest ISA fund ranges available in the UK through the Fidelity Funds Network. By applying through Cobens connect you benefit from a 2% reduction in the standard charges. These will be rebated back into the ISA. (e.g. an immediate £213 saving for each £10,680 invested).
Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results and may not necessarily be repeated. The value of investments and the income from them can go down as well as up and you may not get back the full amount of your investment. Investment will be into an ISA containing stocks and shares. They are considered to be medium to long-term investments.
Benefits to the employer
Many employers are looking for a wider range of benefits to offer their staff. By offering access to a Group ISA, you are providing something of real value. Last year more than £9bn was invested in ISAs. Many of your employees will already hold ISA investments. This means that they can enjoy the discounted rates for both existing and new ISA investments.
This benefit can form part of your Cobens connect package and be accessible to employees independently from payroll.
Implementation of this benefit is easy, there is no administrative burden or responsibility on the company and it allows your staff to invest in a discounted ISA with access to advice should they wish.
